An interaction designer and media artist based in Valencia, Marco Ferreira focuses his artistic research on exploring new possibilities for dialogue between man and machine. His work uncovers the impact of erroneous and random phenomena in the generation of new interactions with today's media, revealing the post-digital tensions between control and chaos.
The Portuguese artist graduated in Music Production and Technologies (ESMAE, Porto, 2017), after completing a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering (FEUP, Porto, 2014). He has recently completed a Master's degree in Visual and Multimedia Art (BBAA, Valencia, 2024).
The fusion between his training and artistic approach arises in the form of installations, interfaces and performances, with a strong emphasis on the interaction between code, new media, body and space.
